ACCA奪得“全球最佳專業(yè)團(tuán)體”榮譽(yù)獎(jiǎng)項(xiàng)

10月6號(hào)，ACCA（特許公認(rèn)會(huì)計(jì)師公會(huì)）在倫敦著名的“會(huì)計(jì)師與國際會(huì)計(jì)公報(bào)獎(jiǎng)” 中斬獲了“年度最佳專業(yè)團(tuán)體獎(jiǎng)”

本次與ACCA一同被提名的還有：CIMA,加拿大CPA,愛爾蘭CPA和 IMA,但最終還是ACCA贏得了這個(gè)令人矚目的獎(jiǎng)項(xiàng)。

ACCA戰(zhàn)略與發(fā)展執(zhí)行總監(jiān)Alan Hatfield在接受該獎(jiǎng)項(xiàng)時(shí)，向ACCA全球各地的員工致敬：“我特別自豪地代表ACCA的每個(gè)人接受這個(gè)獎(jiǎng)項(xiàng)，因?yàn)樗姓J(rèn)我們的員工，成員和學(xué)生在世界各地正在做的工作。

IAB Awards是由國際會(huì)計(jì)公報(bào)（IAB）設(shè)立的年度國際性獎(jiǎng)項(xiàng)，共設(shè)立了包括“年度最佳網(wǎng)絡(luò)所”、“國際會(huì)計(jì)網(wǎng)絡(luò)新星”、“年度可持續(xù)發(fā)展事務(wù)所”等10個(gè)機(jī)構(gòu)性獎(jiǎng)項(xiàng)，由來自全球各大地區(qū)最具影響力和代表性的標(biāo)準(zhǔn)委員會(huì)、行業(yè)協(xié)會(huì)及行業(yè)領(lǐng)袖組成的評(píng)審委員會(huì)，對(duì)全球范圍內(nèi)的會(huì)計(jì)師事務(wù)所或會(huì)計(jì)職業(yè)組織進(jìn)行遴選并裁定最終獲獎(jiǎng)名單；

Last night saw ACCA (the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) scoop the hotly contested Professional Body of the Year award at the prestigious The Accountant & International Accounting Bulletin Awards in London.

ACCA pipped fellow nominees CIMA, CPA Canada, CPA Ireland and the IMA to win the award in front of a packed crowd of industry leaders at the Millennium Gloucester Hotel in fashionable South Kensington.

On accepting the award, Alan Hatfield, ACCA’s executive director of strategy and development paid tribute to ACCA’s people around the globe.

'I am particularly proud to accept this award on behalf of everyone at ACCA because it is in recognition of the breadth of the work our employees, members and students are doing right across the world.'

According to Alan Hatfield, ACCA’s integrated report was integral to winning the award, along with a host of key developments in learning and a new strategic alliance with CA ANZ (Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand).

'Our integrated report illustrates the work ACCA does around the world and provides clear insight into our strategy, governance and performance and how ACCA works in the interest of the public in everything we do. As a resource, it ensures everything we do is transparent, accessible and understandable to all our stakeholders.

'We are also especially proud of the key developments in education and learning we have launched this year, including the move to four exam sittings a year, the launch of the revolutionary ACCA-X online learning solution, and our unique global partnership with University of London on a Masters in Professional Accounting.

'Lastly, in the true spirit of internationalism, our new strategic alliance with CA ANZ creates a stronger voice on behalf of our combined 788,000 current and next generation professional accountants.'

It is the global nature of the award that makes winning it all the more special says Alan Hatfield;

'As a global body, winning a truly international award is all the more satisfying. It will take pride of place at our new office in The Adelphi – although I feel it should really go on a tour of each of our 100 offices around the world as every one of them played a part in winning it!'

As well as winning the award for Professional Body of the Year, ACCA also received nominations for ‘Thought Leadership Initiative of the Year’ for its flagship research project ‘Professional accountants – the future’ and ‘Capacity Building Champion of the Year’ for its pioneering work in international development.
